The ACC is a community resource, so anyone is welcome to contribute. We are looking for additional chromosome counts of all species already or not listed in the database.
The most recent ACC includes chromosome counts for approximately 18,000 animal species. We expect that future releases will (i) have higher numbers of species with chromosome counts and (ii) cover more groups present in the animal Tree of Life.
